Experience must include demonstrated analog and digital design ability including analog signal conditioning and digital design using ORCAD, AutoCad, and related engineering and diagnostic tools and equipment.  Demonstrated project management/execution experience required.  Knowledge and experience with the aerospace industry, vehicle control, algorithm development preferred.  Customer interface and team lead experience preferred
 

Define and analyze flight control concept designs and design requirements based on project requirements and scope

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline required, Masters degree strongly preferred.  5-10 years of electrical engineering experience including hardware design and development; defining and documenting requirements, testing and debugging, system integration and implementation.

Create submittal drawings for cabinets on layout using Autocad and/or Solidworks.
Create assembly and/or detail drawings for production use.
Create complete BOM and complete project take-offs (understanding ERP system).
Maintain drawings and report any changes to the appropriate personnel (programming, manager, production,purchasing, project coordinator).
Create and maintain drawing and blocks directorySupport product during manufacturing processes.
Assist with creating and processing ECN & NCR’S if applicable to engineering issues.
Provide weekly status report to ED Manager.
Hand-off meetings for project technical data for design programming. Hand-off meetings for project technical data from Estimating Department. Investigate and assist with possible product improvement and cost reduction processes

Prior experience with ECO’s.
High school diploma or GED and 1 to 3 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

5 or more years of experience in piping system design and AutoCAD drawing preparation for industrial projects.
Experience with CADworx software is a plus
