Responsibilities Include:
*Concept Design/Detail Design of mechanical subsystems and integration of mechanical and electrical components/subsystems of mobile military combat systems
*Large assemblies, Mechanisms, Heavy mechanical design, Creation of Specifications
*Engineering Calculations
*Component Selection
*Responsibility for Technical Data Package preparation
*Interaction with customers and suppliers
*Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Required:
STRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS TO WORK WITH VENDORS.
Possible travel
*BS in Engineering or equivalent education
*3+/ years applied design experience in Pro E and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing
*Subsystem/System Integration experience, selection/specification of components
*Working knowledge of several of following technical areas: mechanisms, structures, lightweight materials, survivability, systems engineering, electromechanics
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to function as a member of a team
Desired:
* Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5 M1994)
* Familiarity with MIL specs
* Shop interface experience
* Hydraulics Experience is a plus
Mechanical Designer
Location: York, PA
Length of Assignment: Multi-year contract

Responsibilities Include:
Concept Design/Detail Design and integration of mechanical and electrical components/subsystems of mobile military combat systems
·CAD modeling (in Pro/E) of complex components/subsystems in 3D solids
·Preparation of Technical Data Package
·Geometric dimensioning
Required:
·Applied design experience on military ground vehicles, agricultural, construction or mining products
·Ability to generate original concepts and evolve them into functional detail designs
·Subsystem/System Integration experience
·Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5 M1994)
·Familiarity with MIL specs
·Working knowledge of Pro/E Wildfire, with ability to manage large assemblies
·Ability to function as a member of a team
·Strong verbal communication skills
