Requirements:
• 3-4 years experience using AutoCAD for drawing site and facility maps for industrial sites to include buildings, and sheds, call outs for activities and areas, locations of equipment, fire extinguishers, utilities, legends, occasional blowups of specific areas, revising existing maps, creating new ones on 8 1/2” x 11” size paper,
• Industrial facilities drawing experience required
• Experience with AutoCAD required
• Good communication skills required
• Must have own computer, and printer, have your own software, be connected to the Net to send .pdf files and receive emails
• Be located in the Santa Clara Valley and have transportation to meet with principals in Mountain View or nearby community at mutually convenient times
Job description:
• Revise or create CAD drawings of industrial facility layouts using standard drawing conventions, on your own computer from sketches and dimensions provided to you, A new map is typically needed usually 1-2 times per month and revisions 2-3 time per week or month, can vary up to 6 revisions per month.
• Meet with principals 1-2 times per week to deliver or pick up paper copies or discuss needed changes
• Deliver finished maps via email and .pdf files to principals.
