Requirement details:
· Applicant should be an expert with the most basic functions of Pro/E Wildfire including part creation, assembly, and drawing. We make simple cuts and holes in standard structural steel shapes like plates, tubes, pipes, channels, angles, and I-beams. We assemble those parts typically into rectangular frames and then produce detail drawings complete with weld symbols and dimensions for our shop to fabricate.
· Applicant should have good verbal communication skills in order to be understood and talk with the mechanical engineering staff.
· Applicant should be able to take models that are already made (as parts or assemblies) and then create drawings for these parts showing dimensions, layout, weld symbols, detail notes, section views, etc. You will be given sample drawings that have been created so you have a general format to follow.
· Any prior experience to read architectural or structural construction drawings is a huge bonus.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Create and edit engineering 3D models drawings, specifically product component and assembly
drawings, using computer-aided drafting (CAD) tools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate with engineering team to design or detail components and/or assemblies, and to resolve
design issues.
Coordinate engineering drawing views and orthographic projection to depict functional relationships of
components and/or assemblies.
Review and implement the requirements of Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and/or Engineering
Change Orders (ECO) per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Work Instruction (WI) and ASME
Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Utilize independent judgment to determine if engineering drawings are complete, and comply with
industry regulations or standards.
Communicate information effectively to others by telephone, email and/or in person.
Analyze information and evaluate results to identify the best solution and resolve issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Drafting/CAD technology (specifically Creo Elements Pro/5.0).
College coursework in drafting, geometric dimensional and tolerancing is preferred.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Solidworks is a plus.
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering, including principles, techniques, procedures
and equipment for the design and production of a variety of goods.
Experience with one-dimensional tolerance analysis is a plus.
Must be able to prioritize workload and effectively communicate schedule to others.
Must be able to use independent judgment to analyze and resolve routine CAD issues.
Must be able to use independent judgment to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate
